Overland Mountain Bike Club respects your right to privacy. We will never sell or give away your email address or phone number. If you become a member of Overland Mountain Bike Club, your name and snail mail address may be exchanged with other cycling companies and organizations. We won’t share your email address or phone number. Members may opt out of such membership list exchanges by contacting us.

Our web server automatically collects limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our site. (Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data – such as the web pages you view.) Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request and to measure traffic.

Overland Mountain Bike Club.org wants to encourage an open exchange of information and ideas. You can expect these areas to include information and opinions from a variety of individuals and organizations other than Overland Mountain Bike Club.org. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any posting, regardless of whether the posting comes from a user, from a celebrity or “expert” guest, or from any member of Overland Mountain Bike Club and our staff.

Responsibility for what is posted in the galleries, forums, and other public posting areas on Overland Mountain Bike Club.org lies with each user. You alone are responsible for material you post. By using Overland Mountain Bike Club.org you agree not to post or transmit any defamatory, abusive, obscene, threatening or illegal material, or any other material that infringes on the ability of others to enjoy Overland Mountain Bike Club.org or that infringes on the rights of others. Although Overland Mountain Bike Club.org cannot monitor all the postings in the chat rooms, forums, and other public areas, we reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to delete, move, or edit any postings that come to our attention that we consider unacceptable or inappropriate, whether for legal or other reasons. We will not, in the ordinary course of business, review private electronic messages that are not addressed to Overland Mountain Bike Club.org. However, we will comply with the requirements of the law regarding disclosure of such messages to others, including law enforcement agencies.

Overland Mountain Bike Club.org expects that you will not use the service to violate anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. NO SOLICITING. You agree not to use Overland Mountain Bike Club.org to advertise or to solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services, or to make donations of any kind, without our express written approval.

NO SPAMMING. From time to time, users post their email addresses in our chatrooms, forums, and other public posting areas. You agree not to gather these email addresses for purposes of spamming.
