Congratulations to Dominic Glynn in Berkeley, CA for winning this incredible bike!!! Thanks so much to all who supported this effort!
In 2020 Colorado experienced its worst wildfire season in recorded history. On August 13th, a fire started burning near Cameron Pass just outside the Rawah Wilderness nearly 40 miles west of Fort Collins. As fire crews built containment lines, Fort Collins residents watched the smoke rise day after day, most of us thinking it would never even make it to those lines. On October 14th, The Cameron Peak Fire blew through those lines, officially becoming the largest recorded wildfire in the state’s history, and coming right to the doorstep of Fort Collins. When the fire was finally declared fully contained on December 2nd, 208,663 acres of forest, 469 buildings, and over 120 miles of trails had burned. Thankfully no lives were lost.
Out of the ashes comes new life. OMBA will focus our efforts on bringing new life back to these trails. It will take years to recover, likely decades. It all starts one trail at a time, one mile at a time, one dollar at a time.
Specialized and Fat Tire have partnered to create this beautiful bike to help raise funds for this effort. Your dollars matter to our community. Our trails matter to our community. Giving you an opportunity to win this one-of-a-kind Stumpy while helping our community rebuild the areas in which we live and recreate is a win for all of us!
The bike is a Specialized Size S-4. Shipping & delivery options will be arranged with the winner.
