Come help us celebrate the thirteenth annual TKMBD. The first Saturday in October is the official ride date, designated by the U.S. Congress. Bring your kids out for a fun morning of mountain biking at Lory State Park in Fort Collins on Saturday, October 1st, 2016. This free event runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm and is open to kids of all ages. Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is sponsored by Overland Mountain Bike Club and is presented in conjunction with the fall edition of IMBA’s International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. This event will create great memories for you and your children while encouraging an active lifestyle. It encourages kids to put down the video games and hop on their bikes and have a great time riding local trails and learning trail etiquette. After the ride, we provide lunch for kids, parents and volunteers and there will likely be some swag for the kids. The event will be limited to the first 75 kids, so be sure to register early.
