Trail Day at Young Gulch
October 20 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
We Build to Ride – and Ride What We Build!
Volunteer to help build the approach ramps to the first three major bridges on the newly restored Young Gulch Trail. The bridges are load rated for horses and other users, are substantially complete, but need transitions to connect back to the trail. The work includes some timber carpentry, as well as working with logs, rock, and soil fills. These three load-rated bridges must be completed so that we can get the trail reopened to the public!
Must be 18 years old, or 16 with participating parent. All PPE, tools, and guidance will be provided. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions, wear long pants and hiking boots if you have them, bring a day pack with 2-liters of water and snacks. Lite breakfast, and pack lunch provided.
