Mark your calendars! We’ll officially get Overland Mountain Bike Club’s season “kicked-off” on March 6 at 6:30pm in the Agave Room above the Rio Grande in Old Town Fort Collins. Hear about Wednesday social rides, weekend group rides, trail projects, our Diamond Peaks MTB Patrol group, advocacy efforts, Take-a-Kid MTB’ing days, and lots more! Meet up with old friends, make some new ones…our kickoff events are always lots of fun!
One big difference in this year’s event, paper membership forms will not be available. Please join or renew online prior to the event so you can still pick up your OMBC membership swag! We will offer sign up assistance at the event for anyone who has questions or issues.
Why join OMBC??? Your membership dollars go towards improving our regional mountain biking opportunities. Bigger membership base gives us a bigger advocacy voice. You get access to group rides including Lake Pueblo SP, Moab, Buffalo Creek, Glendo, Gowdy campout, Winter Park, Steamboat…access to OMBC Trail Talks w/ New Belgium, Push Industries, Niner Bikes…free First Aid/CPR training…plus lots more! And…OMBC is not a race team, so you are more than welcome to join us as well as be a member of another area race team.
Also, we hope to have a new OMBC club jersey design on display! Fit kits will be available for sizing along with information on ordering through the OMBC team store. We’re working on some other sweet gear to be available soon as well!
