Preserving the Northern Colorado Mountain Biking Experience

Trails.Where would we be without trails? On the road? Or the sidewalk? Or the couch? Who knows? We definitely wouldn't be throwing a leg over a mountain bike. Have you ever thought about that? Mountain biking exists because we have trails to ride. And luckily, some hardworking and thoughtful folks have worked to ensure that we continue to have trails to ride. Trails that go up, trails that go down. Trails that wind in and around. Trails that take your breath away. We love our trails! Overland Mountain Bike Club devotes hundreds of volunteer hours each year building trails, maintaining trails, and working with land agencies to make sure mountain bikers continue to have access. The next time you're out working up a sweat, grinding up a hill, or weaving down a singletrack, remember the folks who came before you. And of course, enjoy the ride. (And, if you've never grabbed a McCleod or a Pulaski or a rock bar, check out the Overland Mountain Bike Club calendar for trail days. We'd love to have you come out and get dirty with us.)

Trails. That's Why.

Overland Mountain Bike Club loves trails. Singletrack. Rocky technical. Fireroads. You name it. If it’s not pavement, we want to ride it. We are a group of fun-loving people who love to get out and ride. We also know that the Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming Region has some of the best mountain biking in the country. We don’t have to drive hundreds of miles to put in an epic day. We can ride right out our back door. And, we work to keep it that way. Join us for a ride. Join us for a trail day. Join us for a meeting. See what we’re all about. The benefits of membership are well worth it.

For 15 years, our Certified Mountain Bike Patrollers have worked to assist bikers, hikers, and horseback riders. Trained in First Aid, CPR, and basic bike maintenance, our Patrollers help users enjoy their experience outdoors. Patrollers focus their attention towards education, not enforcement, and keep an eye out for anything on the trail that might disrupt someone’s outdoor experience.
