Thursday Evening Trail Work – Reservoir Ridge Natural Area

An event every week that begins at 5:15pm on Thursday, repeating until July 27, 2017
Join us for an evening of trail work at Reservoir Ridge Natural Area. Thursday evening work will focus on repairing trail sections heavily worn from erosion while maintaining technical characteristics common to the area. Moderate to strenuous work – shopping for big rock, armoring tread, and constructing rock walls. Work will continue every Thursday at the same time throughout the summer (weather permitting).
Please email us at the below address if you plan to attend so that we know to expect you. Volunteer head count is limited to 15 people per agency request.
Provided: All tools and safety PPE.
Wear: Long pants, sturdy work or hiking boots – rough terrain – no open-toed shoes.
Bring: Daypack, 2-liters water, snacks, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, storm gear, work gloves.
Meet at 5:15 pm at the Michaud Lane public parking area for Reservoir Ridge
Parking at Michaud Lane: Limited – please carpool if possible.
