Overland Mountain Bike Club – Member Ride – April – Moab
April 28 - April 30
We had a fantastic trip to Pueblo for Overland’s first ever destination ride. The second Overland Member Destination Ride of 2017 takes place Friday April 28th through Sunday April 30th. This ride is for current Overland members (join/renew now) and we will be riding the epic trails around Moab, UT. The Club will be reserving 3 campsites to hold 18 people. Group sites around Moab are full, but there are many sites that are available on a first come/first serve basis; therefore, we will be sending members out to Moab on Wednesday the 26th to reserve sites and then we will email attendees with the exact location of the sites on Thursday April 27th. The sites can hold up to 6 people each, but only 2 cars per site, so carpooling is encouraged. We are expecting a great turnout for this trip so if you register please plan on attending so we can plan accordingly.
The club is paying for the three campsites and will also be providing some refreshments. None of the campsites around Moab have running water or showers due to the desert conditions, but we plan on setting up near the Colorado River. Showers are available at most of the bike shops in Moab for a small fee. Also, Overland will be bringing plenty of water jugs and transporting water as needed to the campsites. If you aren’t into water, we will provide some delicious canned beverages for you post ride as well.
If you plan to camp at the Overland sites, please sign up for the ticket type for the date(s) you will be camping (one ticket for each person in your group), so we know how many people to expect.
If all of the Overland campsite tickets are gone, additional sites should be available for you to reserve for $18/night around the area and you can still plan on riding with us. If you are planning to go and will be staying at your own site, please still sign up with the “on your own” ticket type so we know to expect you.
